In order for you to have the most accurate InBody scan, keep the following in mind prior to booking a day and time that work best for you:
- Wear lightweight clothing
- Drink fluids as normally the day before your test
- Do not eat for at least 3 hours before testing
- Do not exercise for at least 3 hours before testing
- Do not consume alcohol or excess caffeine for at least 24 hours before the test.
- Do not shower or sauna 3 hours before testing
- Do not wear lotion or ointments on hands or feet.
This test is not recommended for:
- Women who are pregnant
- Women who are menstruating
- Individuals with electronic medical devices (i.e. pacemaker) or other metallic supports
